Well, here we go...2nd song I've had to learn how to pick. Man am I getting stretched! Wow. Already since I've been playing on the team I am getting my skills blown up. :) pray for my fingers to be able to withstand the use they've been given lately with playing guitar.

One thing is for sure. I'm growing spiritually and In my guitar skills. I challenge anyone who wants to be the best at what they do... Step outside what makes you comfortable.

Blam!

So last night I found out that I am playing acoustic again for this weekend services. Scrambled last night to gather all the chords and in the process, discovered that I need to learn how to pick the last songs intro. I'm not exactly a pro when it comes to picking...however, I called the guitar master, Damion, and he tabbed out the intro for me. I've practiced a total of 3 hrs and I think I've finally about got it. No sweat. Just trusting in the Lord and He is faithful to completion. Thank you Jesus that you are so faithful and willing to bless us!

The Race

The Race.  Running the marathon.  What marathon?  THE MARATHON.  The biggest race ever!  We're all on it.  Some go on to finish, some fall short.  Its the marathon of life.

This isn't a quick few laps and you're done.  This is for the long haul.  The race that was made to be completed and was never guaranteed to be easy.

Are you ready?  Do YOU have what it takes to run the race?  Do YOU have the determination to push through and see the finish line crossed by your own two feet?  No one else can run it for you.  Are you ready?

At times you'll trip up and fall, but you gotta pick yourself back up again.  Can't look back, gotta keep looking forward and see the goal.  Know your prize for completing the race.  Complete the race...and you win the prize.
